Joint Injections

Inflammatory joint conditions, such as arthritis, can be treated by injections of corticosteroids into the affected joint. Corticosteroids are anti-inflammatory agents that slow down the accumulation of cells responsible for producing inflammation within the joint space. We use this technique to treat pain in the big joints like shoulder or hip and also in the smaller joints like in the hand or foot. For perfect procedure accuracy we use the guidance of the ultrasound.
